Music and academics often go hand-in-hand. Maybe this is because they are both expressions of the human desire to express and explore. It is no wonder that humans developed some of their most beautiful music as they were also making enormous strides in knowledge and productivity. The Baroque and Classical periods coincide with the blooming of modern science, industry, and political and economic liberty in the West.

Some say listening to classical music (especially Baroque) helps you concentrate. Some researchers believe playing a musical instrument helps students to do math

Of course, not everyone seeks music for its educational benefits.  Some use music simply to express themselves, relax, relieve stress, or promote a feeling of serenity. And of course, most just enjoy playing and listening to music. It's fun.

Beethoven called music "a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy", and the "mediator between spiritual and sensual life” and given it's prevalence in our lives and society, it is hard to argue that it is not tremendously important and influential in our lives.

Whatever the reason for your interest in music, Knowledge Team In-Home Tutors, LLC wants to help you achieve your musical goals, and is happy to offer beginner and intermediate piano lessons!
